(January 1987-June 1992) started with 33 teachers and few students .the school of has of 3 classrooms blocks, a very big hall,
football field,basket field, basket ball court and badmitting court, it also have 2 computer labs, an administrative block ,school clinic and school shop,the name of the presently, the name of the principal is HAJIA RUKAYATU HUSSANI.
GSS Tudun Wada, established on the 16th of January 1984, has a prime location in the heart of Abuja metropolis in Constantine street Wuse zone 4. This central location gives it easy access from any part of Abuja, makes it a beehive of activity and an easy access for students, teachers and parents.
The school which is strategically seated on a hill, with beautiful scenery, portrays an ambience of serenity from the well maintained lawn, to the well-trimmed hedges.
The atmosphere belies the academic excellence of the school and depicts the mission statement of the school, “to constantly pursue academic excellence and innovative ideas, alighting ourselves to very high standards and best practices, for the good of the society”.
To lend credence to the vision of the school which is “to give students the required tools to become well-grounded citizens, knowledgeable in applying their talents to respond to and cope with the dynamics and challenges of a developing society”, the school boasts of the well-equipped science laboratory, library, and a computer centre which if up-graded will rank amongst the best in the FCT.
The school is eco-friendly, as the exterior walls of the classrooms are made of burnt bricks which is indigenous to the environment. it also boasts of a large multi-purpose auditorium with a seating capacity of five hundred.
In GSS Tudun Wada we believe in the adage “a sound mind in a sound body”, hence the school is equipped with a clinic and standard sporting arena, which comprises a football field a basketball court handball court, lawn tennis court and room for expansion to accommodate track and field events.
All these facilities are manned by highly qualified teachers, very articulate and hard working to fulfil the mission of the school. This can be seen in the students display of talents, skills passion and achievements in the following ways:-

6. 1st Position Young Broadcasters competition on media (2016).
7. 1st & 2nd Position in Zonal essay competition by ANCOPSS (2017).
8. 1st Position Oando zonal cooking competition 2017.
9. 1st Position Blog Development (2017).
10. 1st Position Essay writing competition on Environment (2017)
To mention but a few of the numerous successes of our students this has brought the school great recognition in the educational sector. Aside that, the school is replete with a formidable, conscientious, and intelligible management team, that has taken the school to an enviable status.
